In choir, we help you find your voice.

At Catalina Foothills High School, choir is more than singing notes on a page. It’s about building confidence, creating community, and experiencing the joy of making music together. Our choirs offer a place for every singer, whether you’re discovering your voice for the first time or preparing for a future in music. Through performance, teamwork, and artistic expression, students grow as musicians and as people, gaining skills that last far beyond the stage.

Advanced Sopranos & Altos | Grades 9–12 | Audition Required
Concert Silver takes your singing to the next level. This advanced ensemble performs sophisticated, multi-voice arrangements across genres and is featured at school, community, and festival performances (5–8 per year). Members are encouraged to participate in statewide festivals and competitions while honing the discipline of a professional musician.

Concert Chorale

Advanced SATB Ensemble | Grades 10–12 | Audition Required
As our largest advanced choir, Concert Chorale brings together skilled sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses to perform challenging works from diverse traditions. Expect intricate harmonies, multiple voicings, and 6–9 performances each year. Members are leaders in the program and often represent CFHS at festivals and state events.

Change of Pace

Flagship Small Ensemble | Grades 10–12 | Audition Required
Change of Pace is our elite vocal group specializing in a cappella and jazz. With 8–11 performances annually, this tight-knit ensemble shines in improvisation, vocal jazz, and dynamic stage presence. It’s an opportunity to perform at the highest level and represent CFHS in the community and beyond.

AP Music Theory

Grades 11–12 | Teacher Approval Required
For students serious about music, AP Music Theory builds the skills needed for college entrance exams and professional musicianship.
