Thank you, Falcon Families!

Friday was the Staff Appreciation's Soup & Chili Lunch, and the weather made the crockpots full of goodies even more cozy and comforting. It is always nice to treat the Falcon faculty to a meal and show our gratitude for their daily dedication. Thanks to the volunteers who set up, hosted, and cleaned all those crockpots: Jody Ponzo, Petrina Barr, Bridgett Baldwin, Teresa Sommers, Joanna Urbina and her amazing Mom.

Thank you to everyone who contributed food and drink items: Amy Courson, Brenda Rivera Lopez, Carrie Inge, Clarissa Jeffcoat, Demetria Murray, Denise Rajala, Didi Ghotmi, Gigi Ng-DeGuia, Jessica Sanchez, Jim Twomey, Jin Ting Gow, Karin Fiore, Kim Bourn, Kristina Bonet, Linda LeClair, Lisa M. Robinson, Liz Dobbins, Noah Mickey-Colman, Petrina Barr, Sarah Peterson, Susan Wright, Teresa Sommers, Thomas Logue, and Tyler Le Peau.

Grad Night 2026

Now that is is officially 2026, Grad Night is just around the corner! Grad Night is the celebration party for Seniors that takes place on Wednesday, May 20th immediately after the graduation ceremony. The graduates will leave their cap and gown with family and head to the gym for an all night final celebration with their classmates where there will be dinner, dancing, casino, carnival, games, entertainment and many memories made before breakfast burritos at 5am. It is a FUN, safe, and fitting way to end their time in high school and congratulate them for all their hard work as Falcons at Catalina Foothills.

We are so excited to send off the Class of 2026 with this year's Grad Night and equally excited to reveal this year's logo, created by CFHS graphic design student Scott Hollander. Congrats to Scott and thank you for sharing your artistic talent with us all!

Grad Night: Tickets

Senior families, the time to get those Grad Night Tickets is NOW! If your graduating Falcon does not have their ticket for the celebration, you can purchase them on InTouch or at the Bursar's office for $150 until May 1st. Ticket prices will go up after that to $175 so be sure to get yours now. They will not be able to get tickets after May 15th and none are sold at the door. Tickets must be purchased in advance. This is a party that they will not want to miss!

Grad Night: Sponsorships

Grad Night is the biggest event of the year and relies on Sponsorships from families and businesses to be able to have all that it does to celebrate the Seniors in a memorable way. MULTIPLE sponsors are needed for EACH level offered:

  • Decorations Chair: If you can visualize some Hawaiian-themed decor, please help us bring your ideas to fruition! If you can guide this aspect or have an interest in helping on the Grad Night committee, please contact Jody at President@cfhsffo.org.

Next Year's Course Selection

We are grateful to Ms. Randie Collier, CFHS Counseling Department Chair, for speaking at the January FFO meeting about the course selection process for Falcons beginning on February 2nd. Parents can help students by confirming with them that they have access to StudentVue, reviewing their course choices and signing the form, and reminding students they will need to turn in their forms by midnight on February 6th via StudentVue. Counselors will be available during both lunches the week of February 2nd - 6th.
