CFHS Student News
Dear CFHS Community,
We are pleased to share that Catalina Foothills High School has earned an “A” letter grade from the Arizona Department of Education for the 2024–2025 school year. This honor reflects the steady work of our students, the skill and dedication of our teachers and staff, and the support of our families.
An “A” rating recognizes a broad set of outcomes, including academic growth, proficiency, graduation, and readiness for college and careers. More importantly, it signals that daily classroom experiences at CFHS are challenging, purposeful, and well supported. We are so proud of what our students and staff have accomplished! Congratulations, Falcons.

Catalina Foothills Students Earn AP Honors

CFHS Choir
Last week CFHS hosted the Arizona Choral Educators Fall Festival, where 23 different choirs from around the region competed for ratings in performance and literacy. All 3 of our auditioned choirs from CFHS received the highest possible rating of Superior with Distinction, and our Concert Chorale received the highest scores of the festival in both performance and literacy, with one of the judges giving a perfect score. Congratulations singers!

CFHS Band
Congratulations to the Foothills Falcon Band who placed second overall out of 25 bands last weekend at the Dobson Invitational in Phoenix. The band won outstanding music and outstanding visual captions for scoring the highest in the competition in those two areas. Congratulations on your persistence and effort in achieving this recognition!
CFHS National Honor Society Tutoring
If any student is interested in tutoring or extra help in any subject area, we offer FREE, walk-in peer tutoring from National Honor Society students. This is available every morning in the CFHS Library starting 45 minutes before school begins. Please consider taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
